The laboratory is run on a not-for-profit basis in order to provide flexible and affordable (fees are calculated on a 'cost only' basis) specialist laboratory services to veterinary surgeons, charities, individuals and other organisations where assay availability is limited.

We are now concentrating on helping cats suffering from FIP to receive the appropriate amounts of their anti-viral treatments Remdesivir and GS-441524

The main analytical arm of the laboratory is assaying for molecules of interest in animal and environmental specimens by reverse-phase high pressure liquid chromatography (RP-HPLC). We are able to analyse small numbers of samples for individual studies or use hard-to-come-by methods which cannot be undertaken by larger concerns.
